How to Make Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate chip cookies may be soft, crunchy, or whatever you prefer. However, soft chocolate chip cookies have won the hearts of many. Making soft chocolate chip cookies is not that difficult if you just stick to these guidelines.

To begin, you have make the chocolate chip cookie dough. If you’re on the hunt for a good recipe, look around or make use of the recipe on the back of the bag of chocolate chips. This is typically a standard chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Combine the sugars and butter together thoroughly. Go for an an electric mixer to do it fast and well. Don’t go for really fluffy texture, just aim to remove all lumps of butter and/or sugar. Then put in the eggs and vanilla.

This step is necessary to get soft chocolate chip cookies. Don’t beat the batter with the eggs so that it becomes fluffy and airy. Just stir until combined and you’re good to go.

Next, get a separate bowl. Then, in it, mix together the flour, baking soda, as well as salt. Stir it with using a spoon and sift according to the instructions. If it indicates sifted flour, then go ahead and sift it and then measure it. Doing so ensures that you get the right amount of flour.

Then, you can slowly add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients. Put in a little bit out of time and mix in well. Mix it completely, then stir in the chocolate chips.

Refrigerate the dough for at least two hours or better yet, overnight. Preheat the oven so that it’s thoroughly heated before putting the cookies in. Roll the cookie dough into 2 inch balls and place them about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.

See to it that the cookie she is not warm especially between batches. Put the cookie sheet in a refrigerator beforehand to make a cold to ensure that it’s not warm.

Bake depending on the instructions until very lightly golden brown across the whole cookie. If it turns dark brown, it will be hard and crunchy. Still, see to it that you cook all the way or else it will just be gooey dough rather than soft cookie and gooey chocolate.

Chocolate Chip Pancake Help?!?!?

Brandon Asked: Chocolate Chip Pancake Help?!?!?

Tomorrow is the day of my brother’s final and I was going to get up early and surprise him by making him breakfast. I am just going to make chocolate chip pancakes from the box but if I wanted to just make chocolate chocolate chip pancakes how would I go about doing this? I don’t have any cocoa powder so could I maybe add chocolate syrup and mix it directly into the batter? I need it within 11 hours so thanks!

Answers:

Sandy K Answered:
You add chocolate chips, I don’t think chocolate syrup will add taste to the pancakes.

RoyS Answered:
You can add a bit of chocolate syrup to the mix, and add chocolate chips. If the batter seems too runny, add more flour/pancake mix.

You could totally use chocolate syrup! I tried this recipe and it was really good 🙂

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter (no substitutions), room temperature
1/2 cup sifted unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
3 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted (measure out 3 cups before sifting)
1 tablespoon whipping cream or half and half
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

Mix butter, cocoa powder, and chocolate syrup in a large mixing bowl.  Beat together at a low speed just until combined.

Add the confectioners sugar, whipping cream, and vanilla.  Use low speed until the sugar is mixed in.  Then increase to medium speed and beat 1 minute until mixture is smooth and easily spreadable.  If it’s too thick add a little more whipping cream.  If too thin add a little more sugar.

no they mostly contain dairy

Raelyn Answered:
Enjoy Life brand chocolate chips are dairy-free and soy-free.You can find them in the health food section of almost any supermarket. If for some reason yours doesn’t carry them, you can substitute with a bar of Lindt’s dark chocolate, also dairy-free. Wal-mart and Target carry Lindt’s as do many supermarkets.

If you want to, go ahead!! I would use about 1 cup cocoa mix or 1/4 cup Hershey Cocoa powder either regular or the Dark Chocolate. Or you can melt bitter baking chocolate, chocolate chips, bakers semi sweet chocolate, or Hershey bars and stir it in.

Linda Answered:
You could, but the chocolate flavor wouldn’t be very strong. And hot chocolate mix has sugar and powdered milk in it too. If you really want to, use 1/4 cup of the mix and reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup.
